Pizza sticks with vegetable sauce - from the 7th month

Pizza sticks for babies

Today we had pizza for lunch 🍕 I prepared twice the amount of dough, I made pizza for us from one half and pizza sticks for Bienchen from the other half.

This recipe is also great for using vegetable puree and baking something delicious for a BLW baby. You can top the pizza sticks with whatever you like.

Ingredients for pizza stick dough:
250 g flour
5g fresh yeast
125ml water
1.5 tbsp olive oil
Optional:
(1/2 teaspoon salt for older children or adults)

Ingredients for the filling:
150g vegetable puree
Optional:
Some grated mozzarella (from the 9th month)
oregano

Or

150g homemade or children's tomato sauce
Optional: Some grated mozzarella (from the 9th month)
oregano

Some olive oil for brushing

Preparation:
1️⃣ Dissolve yeast in water in a large bowl and add flour (&salt).
2️⃣ Knead everything together into a dough for about 3-5 minutes.
3️⃣ Form a ball. Brush the ball with 1.5 tablespoons of olive oil and cover with a cloth.
🕑 Let it rest for an hour.
4️⃣Preheat the oven!
5️⃣Line the baking tray with baking paper. Flatten the dough with your hands.
6️⃣Coat the dough with vegetable puree or tomato sauce and spread the mozzarella on top.
7️⃣Fold one half of the dough over and cut strips with a pizza cutter.
8️⃣Twirl/twist each strip of dough twice and brush with olive oil.
9️⃣Bake at 200° top and bottom heat for 15-20 minutes.

🍕You can also optionally get a sheet of pizza from the dough mentioned above. Top with whatever you like and bake at 200° top and bottom heat for about 20 minutes.
