Make your own granola - recipe

Granola recipe

Important to know for babies or toddlers:
The recipe is more for older children or adults. If babies/small children eat with you, be sure to replace honey with date syrup and leave out whole or coarse nuts, seeds, kernels, grains and linseed!

200g large leaf spelled flakes or large leaf oat flakes
80g date syrup or 80g honey (honey is not suitable for babies!)
70g coconut oil

For older children or adults:
50g seed mix (e.g. sunflower and pumpkin seeds, sesame)
30g flax seeds
60g almond flakes

Yoghurt/curd topping: Fresh fruit, freeze-dried fruit and date syrup.

1️⃣In a small pot, heat coconut oil and date syrup/honey very briefly. 2️⃣Put the pot aside.
Heat the oven to 160°C top and bottom heat.
3️⃣Mix the melted coconut oil with date syrup/honey and the remaining ingredients.
4️⃣Line the baking tray with baking paper and spread the granola mixture onto the baking tray.
5️⃣Bake in the oven for 10-15 minutes.
6️⃣‼️Every 4 minutes take out the baking tray and turn the granola pieces.
7️⃣Let it cool down well.
8️⃣If you like, you can mix in chopped dried fruits, for example.
