Breakfast porridge - basic recipe

Porridge for babies
At the moment my little one doesn't really like bread for breakfast, so I now have porridge with fruit more often.

Basic porridge recipe:
200ml milk/almond milk/oat milk or water
40g / 4tbsp tender oat flakes

Topping:
Any type of fruit depending on age
Crushed nut's
Nut butter
Desiccated coconut
Chopped dried fruits

Preparation:⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
1️⃣Put milk and oat flakes in a pot and bring to the boil over medium heat until a mushy consistency is reached. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
2️⃣ I peeled half a piece of apple, cut it very small and boiled it with milk and oat flakes until soft. We had banana and cherries at home as a topping. I halved the cherries and pitted them. Added almond butter and coconut flakes and our breakfast was ready.

For all porridge babies, you can simply puree everything until creamy. If the porridge dimensions are too thick, just add a little liquid 😊

By the way, the porridge not only tastes good to my little bee, we also really enjoy eating it 😋 What do your children (or you) like to eat for breakfast? 🍳🥞 🥐
